The Kalahari The very name conjures images of wild grace - the deliberate movement of giraffes across the horizon in waning sunlight, a pride of lions resting under the ancient shade of a baobab tree. This is a land of rough beauty. A fragrant land of sweet shrubs and spiced smoke. This is an old land, a place of many hidden secrets, and from it, we are honored to bring to you a few. Allow us to introduce you to new things' flavors of South Africa bright and exotic as the sun after desert rain, wholesome and nurturing as the land from whence they come.

We formed Kalahari ® Limited in 1999. Our inspiration wasn't the pursuit of fortunes (though we wouldn't mind that outcome!), nor to corner any particular market. No, the impetus was simpler. David, who was born in South Africa, found himself missing the flavors of his home country. So with college friend, Ned, he created Kalahari Limited to introduce the flavors he so missed to the country he now calls home. So, here we are. Today, we find ourselves at the helm of a fast-growing company, one committed to bringing authentically South African products to America.
